In BattleBit Remastered, you can choose one of the six character classes: assault, engineer, leader, medic, recon, and support. Each class has its own advantages and disadvantages. Let’s explore them all in this concise and straightforward article.

Assault

A frontline fighter with assault rifles, pistols, and heavy armor. They have bonuses to gun handling, such as reload speed, weapon swap speed, and ADS speed.

  • Pros: Versatile, good at close to medium-range combat, can deal with most threats.
  • Cons: Not very effective at long range, no special abilities or gadgets, may run out of ammo quickly.

Recon

A sniper class with marksman rifles, sniper rifles, and light armor. They have bonuses to stealth, such as reduced visibility, increased movement speed, and silent footsteps. The Recon class can unlock high-tech gadgets like the Air Drone, which is a flying device that can scout the area and drop IEDs on enemies. You can use it by pressing the gadget button (usually G) and then using the WASD keys to move and the mouse to aim and click.

  • Pros: Excellent at long-range combat, can eliminate enemies with one-shot kills, can stay hidden and move fast
  • Cons: vulnerable at close range, no healing or support abilities, may be targeted by enemy vehicles or snipers.

Engineer

A vehicle repair and anti-vehicle class with carbines, launchers, pistols, and normal or light armor. They have bonuses to engineering, such as increased repair speed, extra rockets, and a wrench.

  • Pros: Can repair and destroy vehicles, can use launchers for anti-vehicle and anti-infantry purposes, and can use a wrench to melee enemies.
  • Cons: Limited weapon choices, no healing or support abilities, may be vulnerable to enemy fire while repairing or launching.

Squad Leader

A squad leader with assault rifles, DMRs, pistols, and normal or light armor. They have special gadgets to coordinate their team, such as pinging targets, calling in air strikes, and setting up spawn beacons.

  • Pros: Can coordinate and lead their squad, can call in air strikes and spawn beacons, can mark objectives and enemies.
  • Cons: Limited weapon choices, no healing or support abilities, may be overwhelmed by enemy fire or flanking. Cannot use heavy armor.

Support

An ammo carrier and builder class with LMG carbines, pistols, and exo or heavy armor. They have bonuses to support, such as extra ammunition, repair tools, and deployable cover.

  • Pros:: Can provide ammo and cover for their teammates, can use LMG carbines for suppressing fire, can wear exo armor for extra protection.
  • Cons: Slow movement speed, no healing or support abilities, may be outmatched by enemy snipers or launchers.

Medic

A healer class with SMGs, shotguns, pistols, and normal or light armor. They have bonuses to healing, such as increased revive speed, extra bandages, and a defibrillator.

  • Pros: Can heal and revive their teammates, can use SMGs and shotguns for close-range combat, can use a defibrillator to shock enemies
  • Cons: Limited weapon choices, not very effective at long range, may be exposed to enemy fire while healing or reviving.

At the time of writing, the medic is the top-tier class in the game, and most of the highest ranked players choose this as their default pick. In the future, there might be chances that this class will be nerfed.

BattleBit Remastered is a relatively new game (still in early access), and new features, updates, and patches are still rolling out regularly. The stats and abilities of classes can be changed in the future to create more balance on the battlefield.
