GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026, and there are two editions: Standard and Ultimate.
This guide covers what each edition costs, what the pre-order bonuses include, and the fine print on the free GTA+ month.

Editions and Prices
Prices vary slightly between listings because of rounding and region. Both editions are sold digitally and physically through the Rockstar Store, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Amazon, GameStop, and other retailers.
- Standard Edition: $79.99 in the US (some listings round to $80). One search result lists £69 in the UK.
- Ultimate Edition: $99.99 in the US (some listings round to $99). One search result lists £89 in the UK.
What the Ultimate Edition adds
Take-Two describes the Ultimate Edition as adding an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, and apparel. Technically, it is the Standard game plus the Ultimate Edition Upgrade.
That upgrade bundles vehicles, weapons, apparel, shops, and properties. These items unlock during the story, with new ones revealed behind each chapter, according to the PlayStation Store listing and a fan guide. They are bonuses for both protagonists, Jason and Lucia.
You do not have to decide now. A fan guide says Standard Edition owners can buy the upgrade separately after redeeming their copy. It gives the Xbox Store price as $20.00. That is the same gap as the difference between the two editions' US prices.
Pre-Order Bonuses and the GTA+ Free Month
There are two separate incentives. Which ones you get depends on when you buy and whether the copy is digital or physical.
The Vintage Vice City Pack
Take-Two says GTA VI pre-orders and purchases made before November 20, 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack. It applies to both digital and physical versions, though one community post describing official information says physical pre-orders qualify only while supplies last. The pack contains:
- A two-tone '55 Vapid Stanier sedan
- The Shore Court Garage on Ocean Beach
- Throwback outfits for Jason and Lucia
- A weapon pattern
Rockstar's PS5 editions page also lists the Stock 305 Clothing Store in its pre-order information. Check the retailer page for the exact bonus list on your platform.
A free month of GTA+
Digital pre-orders also include a free month of GTA+, Rockstar's paid subscription. Reports say it applies to pre-orders made through the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store. One community post describes the membership as including:
- A recurring monthly GTA$500,000 deposit
- Special Shark Cards (in-game cash packs) with a 15% bonus GTA$
- Free and discounted GTA Online vehicles
- Access to the GTA+ Games Library
Treat that perk list as unofficial and check the store page for current details.
Preloading, Deadlines, and Fine Print
Digital pre-orders can preload from November 12, 2026. Preloading downloads the game files ahead of time, so you can start playing at launch instead of waiting for the download.
Watch these points before you buy:
- Bonus deadline: the Vintage Vice City Pack applies to orders placed before November 20, 2026, the day after launch.
- Auto-renewal: the GTA+ free month renews monthly at the regular price after the trial unless you cancel. Set a reminder if you do not want to pay.
- Account lock: the PlayStation Store listing says the membership is non-transferable. It can only be redeemed on the account used to pre-order.
- Physical limits: physical bonus availability may depend on stock, and the GTA+ month is tied to digital pre-orders.
Verdict
The Standard Edition at $79.99 gives you the full game and the Vintage Vice City Pack if you order in time. The Ultimate Edition at $99.99 mainly adds story-unlocked cosmetics, vehicles, shops, and properties. Because the upgrade can be bought later for about $20, there is little risk in starting with Standard.
If you want the free GTA+ month, buy digitally through PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store, and cancel before it renews if you do not want the subscription.
